    Valentin van der Meulen is a French artist, born in 1979, who manipulates his drawings by erasing or another type of overlaying in order to question the limits of the medium and image.

     

    He welcomes you in his studio through the video, photos and texts to present the series "Not Like This ...?" in which the human and floral figures disappear under a thick black paint.
